PLAN YOUR VISIT
In your own vehicle, observe more than twenty species of wildlife from the northern hemisphere. Deer will come to your window to greet you and enjoy carrots.
To make your stay in the park as safe as possible, and to protect the animals, it’s important to follow the safety instructions at all times.
The route by car follows a 12-kilometre signposted path. Total driving time is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. This family outing will allow you to see Canadian animals as you’ve never seen them before.

Practical tips:
- Binoculars are recommended for observing rodents and birds.
- Bring a camera or video camera to capture your visit.
- During your drive, tune in to FM 88.1 to learn more about the animals.
- Our busiest hours are between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Plan your arrival accordingly.
- Buy carrots at the Park House or bring your own to feed permitted deer species.
- Read the safety instructions on all signs carefully during your visit.

When is Omega Park open?
We are open every day of the year, including holidays. Opening hours vary by season.
Are pets allowed?
No. For health and safety reasons, pets are strictly forbidden throughout Parc Omega, including accommodations.
Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Interac, American Express, and cash. Valid Parc Omega gift cards can be used on-site or online.
Can we feed the animals?
Yes. On the car trail, deer and elk may be fed, but bison and wild boars must never be fed. On walking trails, white-tailed deer and fallow deer may be fed.
What can we feed the animals?
Only carrots are permitted. You can buy them at the Park House or bring your own.
Do you have family packages?
When you purchase more than 3 tickets, a 10% discount is automatically applied online for families and friends.
Can we get out of the car?
You may not leave your vehicle during the car trail, even to take photos. Walking is allowed only in designated trail areas such as the Land of Pioneers and the First Nations Trail.
Can we ride in the pick-up bed?
No. All vehicle doors must remain closed at all times, even if your windows cannot open.
Can we visit in a convertible or doorless Jeep?
Convertibles and Jeeps without doors or roof coverings are strictly prohibited. Staff will ask you to close the roof or reinstall doors at admission.
Can we see all the animals in bad weather?
Weather does not bother the animals. Bears are the only species not visible in winter because they hibernate.
Is there a restaurant on-site?
You can eat at the Park House, OmegaBon restaurant, and La Cookerie in the Land of Pioneers.
Can we bring our own lunch?
Yes. Picnic tables are available in the park’s pedestrian areas.
Can we bring a barbecue?
Gas and propane barbecues are prohibited in the park.
Are there electric car charging stations?
There are no charging stations inside the park yet, but one is available at Montebello Train Station, 502-A Notre-Dame Street, Montebello.
When is the Old Farm open?
Farm animals can be visited year-round. In winter, the farmhouse welcomes visitors near an outdoor fire.
Can animals damage the car?
Driving among wild animals always involves risk. Following safety instructions greatly reduces the chance of contact.
Can we visit by motorcycle?
No, motorcycles are not permitted in the park.
Can we visit with a caravan or trailer?
Yes, but trailers may only be parked in the accommodations zone beforehand. The park is not responsible for theft or vandalism.
Can we visit in a recreational vehicle?
School buses, coaches, and motorhomes may visit the park, but passengers must remain inside the vehicle.
Where can we park a second vehicle?
Depending on traffic, a second vehicle may sometimes be left near the Park House. Ask admission staff for the best location.
Can we leave and return later?
Your admission ticket is valid all day. Present your receipt at admission to re-enter.
Do we need to reserve tickets?
We recommend buying tickets online, but they are also available at admission.
Do we need a reservation for the Sugar Shack?
No reservation is required. The Sugar Shack sells maple products.
Can we fish at Trout Lake?
Fishing and hunting are forbidden. The park is private property where wildlife is protected.
Can we take photos of the animals?
Yes, but during the car trail you must stay inside your vehicle, keep windows half closed, and avoid camera flash.
Are walking trails accessible for strollers?
Some trails are difficult with strollers or reduced mobility. Zones 4 and 11 are the most accessible.
Can we rent a vehicle on site?
Open-top mesh golf carts are available at the Park House for $60 per hour plus tax, minimum 2 hours, up to 4 people, first come first served.
